今いる人、今あるもの、過去にいた人、過去にあったもの、それらを「当たり前」と思ってしまうと、感謝の気持ちがなくなってしまいます。
当たり前に思えることが、当たり前じゃない。
そのことを心の片隅に置いて、忘れないようにしたいです。

We tend to take it for granted that people and things around us are nothing but usual as though they exist forever. But the fact is, nothing is secured and they will fade away someday, or they will just disappear out of the blue. So let’s not take them for granted and let’s have mind to appreciate them. It’s okay to do that from time to time, not all the time. I hope we will be wise enough to be grateful for what we have before it’s over.
